Megan Trach (rhymes with ‘Bach’) is a New York City-based woodwind doubler. They were the Reed 1 player for the National Tour of Mean Girls from September 2023 – June 2025, for which they played flute, piccolo, clarinet, alto sax, soprano sax, and oboe. From April 2022 – May 2023, they played Reed 1 (flute, picc, alto flute, clarinet) for the National Tour of Fiddler on the Roof. They graduated in May of 2022 from New England Conservatory with a Masters Degree in flute performance, having studied with Cynthia Meyers, piccoloist of the Boston Symphony Orchestra. They graduated summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa from Barnard College of Columbia University in 2020 with a major in Music and a minor in Environmental Science.
